The new HEYTEA shop in Futian CBD, Shenzhen, embodies the spirit of exploration, innovation, and vitality. MOC DESIGN OFFICE used the staircase as a metaphor for climbing and progress, creating simple units that can be combined in various ways, including Solid Surface Tables, Solid Surface Reception Counters, and Solid Surface Wall Facades.
Inspired by the game Monument Valley, the Solid Surface Stair is dismantled and rebuilt to lead customers up and across the entire space. A white tone and square blocks are used to create an immersive experience that includes Solid Surface Benches for customers to relax.
The blocks are piled up and shaped into a central island, creating a warm and inviting feel. The Solid Surface Stair is used as a display for merchandise, guiding traffic flow and providing space for tea breaks and communication.
The designer concealed functional areas, such as the self-service desk, between the stairs, creating a seamless flow. A custom-designed tea set showcases the brand’s selection of teas from different origins. The HEYTEA shop creates a unique experience that embodies the brand’s values of exploration, innovation, and vitality, with the incorporation of Solid Surface Tables, Solid Surface Reception Counters, Solid Surface Wall Facades, Solid Surface Stair, and Solid Surface Bench.
